The resolution #0008-2022 will make the use of masks more flexible in public and private spaces where there are no large crowds. This will not be the case for educational institutions, mass transportation, health centers, people with special conditions or who have had the SARS-CoV-2 virus Which are still advised to continue the use of masks.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Daniel Rivera, clarified that there are no contradictions with what was stated by President Luis Abinader, in making the use of the mask more flexible and limiting the presentation of the vaccination cards,
since the pandemic is not over.
